What's wrong with you Europeans? There's NO WAY the rubbish Finnish team should win. The monsters' song is monstrously disgusting. I agree that you should give some points to their effort in dressing up and costumes and etc. But 292? Well Europeans are insane. That's the only explanation.
I must say I was really disappointed when I knew that even the British gave the Finnish 12 points. I thought they would be wise.
The 2 acts that were really under-rated were the Latvian and the British acts.
The goodlooking boys from Latvia did a good job. At first when they started singing, it was like out of tune. But then I was patient, trying to give them a chance, considering that it was only the 4th act and I was not totally annoyed, as when I listened to more than 20 disastrous songs at the end of the show. They sang well, each one of them responsible for different layer of the notes. I didn't get the robot part though. It added nothing. I think it would be much better if they just skipped all those stupid side-acts and just focused on the singing.
And I honestly believe the Brits should win. Not that I'm biased. But Daz Sampson's song Teenage Life was a really catchy and feel-good song. The girls singing in the background were fantastic. And Daz did a good job as well. Considering that I'm not really a fan of rap, it was a song that really worth, errrr, downloading (of course I'm referring to legal downloading).
