Hong Kong's Proud

Sometimes you really have to admire the creativity of Hongkies when it comes to TV. I don't think anyone can do drama, which mixes tricks, deceipt, betrayal, love and hatred, better than those in TVB.

The one to watch at the moment (of course only if you can understand Cantonese):


This drama tells the story of two powerful families which rely on each other to survive, while hatred among the two is growing deeper because of generations of suspicions and betrayal. Added with twists alike Romeo & Juliet, the relationships between the two families have become even more complicated, so complicated to the extent that it took me half an hour to understand the relationships of just a dozen of main characters, as shown below:

On top of that, I'm really very impressed by the colour themes adopted by the producers of this show. It's a bit like the movie Hero.
